How to reduce the combustible matter in fly ash from steam generator boilers during operation

1. The steam generator should minimize pulverized coal fineness while ensuring pulverizing capacity;

2. Appropriately reduce primary air pressure and increase primary air temperature as much as possible;

3. Ensure sufficient secondary air volume. Under stable combustion conditions, appropriately increase the opening of the intermediate secondary air damper to fully mix air and powder.

4. While ensuring steam temperature, steam pressure, and load, appropriately reduce the speed of the upper pulverized coal feeder and increase the speed of the lower pulverized coal feeder;

5. Appropriately raise the temperature of pulverized coal in the coal bunker;

6. Avoid coal blockage and coal interruption in the pulverizing system as much as possible, ensure stable operation of the pulverizing system, maintain reasonable ventilation, and reduce tertiary air volume;

7. Do not blindly pursue reheat steam temperature by setting the burner too high, which shifts the flame center upward, reducing the residence time of pulverized coal in the furnace and preventing complete combustion;

8. Reasonably control furnace oxygen levels at 4~6℃ to ensure full combustion of fuel in the furnace;

9. Reduce pulverized coal fineness, ideally to the economic fineness, generally controlled at<10%;

10. Reasonably control the opening of secondary air dampers to ensure appropriate secondary air pressure;

11. Reasonably control the speed of the coal feeder, i.e., pulverized coal concentration;

12. Minimize the frequency of coal feeder interruptions. After an interruption, promptly organize personnel to handle it and restore normal coal supply;

13. Too many starts and stops of the coal mill during a shift can also increase combustible content in fly ash;

14. Regularly perform soot blowing to keep the boiler in good operating condition.
